The Women’s Enterprise Centre of Manitoba (WECM) will be deferring loan payments for three months to help women-owned businesses in the province. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In a release, they also say they won’t charge any interest on loans whether clients opted into the deferred payment option or not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WECM Loans Manager Heather Stephens is reminding people that Western Economic Diversification Canada<\/a> is offering loans of up to $40,000 for eligible women-owned or partnered business. She says this helps entrepreneurs cope with financial hardship and recovery from economic disruption during the pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stephens is encouraging people who need additional funding or financing to reach out to one of their Business Advisors to ask about their Regional Relief and Recovery Fund<\/a>, and other supports. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
