{"id":515,"date":"2020-12-03T19:51:47","date_gmt":"2020-12-03T19:51:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edpwinnipeg.com\/?post_type=news&#038;p=515"},"modified":"2020-12-03T19:51:48","modified_gmt":"2020-12-03T19:51:48","slug":"womens-enterprise-centre-loan-updates","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/edpwinnipeg.com\/?news=womens-enterprise-centre-loan-updates","title":{"rendered":"Women&#8217;s Enterprise Centre loan updates"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Women&#8217;s Enterprise Centre of Manitoba (WECM) will be deferring loan payments for three months to help women-owned businesses in the province. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>In a release, they also say they won&#8217;t charge any interest on loans, regardless of whether clients opted into the deferred payment option or not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WECM Loans Manager Heather Stephens is reminding people that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wd-deo.gc.ca\/eng\/home.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Western Economic Diversification Canada<\/a> is offering loans of up to $40,000 for eligible women-owned or partnered business.
